How many shoes to own

by "BSams888@[EMAIL PROTECTED] " <BSams888@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jan 27, 2008 at 09:57 PM

So be it that it is sneaker month, we should go over how many shoes
you should own. If you are a sneaker head like me you need to think
about what type of shoes to own rather than how many you should own.

The types of shoes you need to have are sneakers for casual outings,
trainers for the gym, and dress shoes for an interview, work, or
formal occasion. A good choice of sneakers are Nike air max, skate
shoes, or vans; shoes that can be worn with a pair of jeans and a t-
****rt. Vans have become more versatile that it can be worn with pants
and a blazer, these are my daily shoes.

Dress shoes are tricky. Don't just go to payless and get a $20 pair of
black loafers with a plastic sole. They are uncomfortable and cheap
looking. Invest in a real pair of dress shoes with a square toe and
leather sole. The leather sole is more comfortable and professional
looking. My favorite store is Aldo shoes, but you can find a solid
pair at Macy's or Nordstrom. Remember, buy black first because black
matches everything.

So for the basic shoe closet you need 3 shoes maybe 4: one casual pair
in black and brown, gym shoes and a solid pair of dress shoes.
